  1. BOX literally copies whatever the Href qpf maps have. Their rainfall map today is a carbon copy of the 00z run and they did it on Sunday for yesterday as well as last weeks fail. That’s not forecasting
  2. What a torch pattern shaping up ..80’s and 90’s with moderate to at times high dews straight thru LD weekend and beyond .
  3. I have a feeling there will be some big Rainers today. Probably a decent chance here . First setup all summer that looks like last summer with slow moving boundary , dews and instability. Scooters storms might be fairly widespread. We’ll see
  4. Tbliss with 4+ “ of rain in last 10 days fumbling with sump pump in basement tonight.. Scoots in S Wey with a couple inches this month .. the Cape to Duxbury with 3-5” in 2 hours today .. gonna be some changes on the drought monitor Thursday morning. Better in SE Mass and worse from Ginx to NY border .
  5. You sure? Last time we checked S Wey is just SE of Quincy
  6. How are your totals by month for JJA?
  7. I mean him to Scooter in S Wey have a special wx statement issued on it now
  8. That really is amazing.the teen complains all winter and jacks snows .. complains all summer and will be near or over 4” MTD after tonight’s 1.5” +. Unreal in TAN
  9. There were 2 posters who thought that was going to rain .
  10. All posters are hopeful Scooter storms tomorrow are as widespread as forecast. I’m counting on a hit here. Trying to stay positive and upbeat
  11. Good question and something I was thinking about tonight. I just snapped these two before it gets dark. Not much green came back yet. I’m thinking if we get Scooter’s storms tomorrow, you’ll start to see some areas begin solid green up again . Especially out of full sun.. but let’s say his storms miss tomorrow.. well you’ve got sunny and hot straight thru Saturday .. so any short term soil moisture near the ground totally evaporated by Wednesday and you’re back where we were this morning. Shorter days and less intense sun start to help protected areas first and then more exposed areas as you get past about Sept 10
  12. Long way to go to get out of Steinshed.. flora , trees have taken a whipping . This is looking off the deck into the woods this even. . Hard to imagine it’s Aug 22 with all the brown and yellows Today was a nice break from the beatings. Nice to see a bit of rain .
  13. I am very happy . Don’t recall saying I wasn’t anywhere here. Just would have liked more than a dust wetter when so many nearby had double or triple the amounts . Maybe Scooters storms tomorrow materialize . I’ll hope
  14. Easy for someone sitting in Stowe , VT to backyard QB when they’ve had supple rains , green grass, no watering needs and daily and nocturnal summer storms all summer . Gotta love this place
  15. And still nowhere near the 2” flooder you had .Barely over an inch for the whole month here Almost 2.5” inches in the last 7 -10 days and you pull this nonsense earlier today
  16. Don’t forget most of them had plentiful rains last two weeks with storms that we missed. Maybe Hoth’s area over to coastal SW CT didn’t .. but most of them did
  17. You should be more concerned about the heavy rain moving into your area all night. Looks like 1-2” +. The rich continue to get fatter
  18. He got lucky one last shower popped. I got him good last week.. today he gets the nod . A little Tit a little tat
  19. Vernon had over 2” just west of here.. Just east and SE had 1.25. Not close to what I needed , but I will take it and start fighting to get out of Steins woodshed once again tomorrow as a new dry spell begins
  20. Yeah had a nice downpour last hour . Picked up a quick .30 in short order. It stopped and then a big shower formed on top of the mountain here . Considering this area missed every storm since mid July.. we were due for a little happy ending.
  21. Got basically what I thought . Congrats on the heavy wetter out that way
