I am still finding a few oak saplings in lawn from that nightmare drop last year.

I have two trees this year with fat boys. But not a high yield and manageable. Others that dropped fat boobs last year don’t have any this year. I’ve never been able to understand how they work. There’s one tree with those medium sized green ones that the squirrels have been up in daily .. chewing, shells everywhere,.. leaves and branches down daily that is triggering Last year was a hard hat year no matter the species.

Thankfully acorns are very minimal this year Some of the ones that dropped thousands last year have none this year . A few dripping on some but now yield

The deer are moving . I’ve seen several this week in morning runs. Looking at me .. creeping

I‘m still picking 10-20 tomatoes all sizes per day . New yellow flowers on many plants. Picking 5-10 peppers a week , more growing and yellow flowers on cuke plants and picking a few per week. Should go well into Roctober with the coming warmth mid/ late month.

Last day of 70+ dews Saturday . What a run we had of high dews this summer . Pattern looks warm mid month on
