    Yeah man .. I agree . September without a cane to me is one of the worst months because summer is ending and there’s usually not much severe and it’s generally just sunny and boring. April is my least favorite. September is 2nd least favorite . Unless we get a cane

    I miss canes so much It’s my favorite thing to track and experience . I would give anything to have been here for 1938 and the 50’s and 60’s with all those direct hits. I keep telling myself this year is the year .. and then it’s not. Year after year. I am infatuated with strong and damaging wind. I get it’s a sickness and admit it. But I do hope I get to see one before it’s my time

    Not at all.. but that’s how extended long term droughts happen in the northeast . Look at the 30’s and 60’s.

    Just because fall hits doesn’t mean coastal storms form and hit. Sure that can happen but many times they miss or the season isn’t conducive to them,.. you can’t count on coastals ending this 30’s and 60’s type drought I don’t remember the specific year but there was a recent winter where almost zero nor’easters ever formed.

    It looks nothing at all wet next week lol. Hit or miss showers like last week Nonetheless, ensemble guidance suggests that a widespread 0.1 to 0.25 inches is a real possibility between Sunday night and Tuesday morning.

    And last summer every single one was a direct hit here. Even forming overhead at 4:45 AM while I was out running . I saw a website and Tolland had the most CG strikes in all of New England last summer. I knew this summer would Stein here.. though I didn’t think it would be this bad . Mother Nature loves to balance things out

    BDL to Somers to Stafford to Union have gotten hit 3-4 times at least over the last month that all missed me. Last week 2 missed NW… one missed sw.. Yesterday missed SE. In fact in July.. there was a storm that Joey north of me up towards Stafford had 2” and I had .73 I think . I think that was my biggest one day or storm rainfall of the summer
