Just whiten the ground up for more than 36 hours at this point. Give us a week or so with a white scape . Those 50’s coming Sunday will do a number in some places that still have some

No Nina delivers that kind of cold with a SE Ridge and either cold EPO dump in west or relaxed zonal flow. That’s what Ninas do . There won’t be a cold shot . If it snows or icestorms. It will all be a result of well timed high to our north. Pretty simple

Your climate is different than SNE and you get that kind of cold fairly often . We do not so the flora takes a hit

Yup I remember that happened all over the region. There were no rhody blooms or forsythias either

That was another pretty crappy winter. You simply can’t get any worse than this one we are living thru But that kind of cold did a lot of damage to the shrubs and flowering buds as I recall
