  1. Like in the Vikings show. They sacrifice a wild animal . Drain the blood into a bucket and then dip fingers into it and smear lines of blood on faces
  2. I noticed today that areas up north that had snow OTG during the cold outbreak and have since melted out had green grass. Once you hit Greenfield/ Deerfield with no snow on south everything really browned out from the cold burn
  3. I’ll have to defer to @moneypitmikeon that one . I’ve come out of Dunkin several times over the years and saw him coming out smiling and laughing
  4. Will your wife let us have one at your place? Brokeback Valley?
  5. Well you’re 100 percent correct but I do hope I lose. It’s pretty sad for me personally when I travel all over the 6 state region and get excited looking at snowbanks, snow and tree damage from storms 3 weeks ago. Winters like this take me right back from about 1979-1991.. and unfortunately thus far.. this one is worse than any of those
  6. I think there’s a misconception that I am rooting against snow . Quite the opposite. I just don’t think a deep - PNA , stout SE ridge , and no blocking is conducive for snow south of NH/ VT. That’s why I made the weed /beer bet with you . If I do lose, I’ll have to send you a check as I won’t go to dispensary if that works
  7. Winters like this truly reveal folks true sides. And that goes for Mets, weenies and regular posters like myself . Snowy winters are easy because it’s all chutes and ladders . Ratter winters like this from Fort Kent to Cape Cod to Greenwich bring out the good , the bad, and the ugly.
  8. I’ll welcome any winter weather .. ice or snow or any combination. I’ve been accused on here of being unhinged by the winter. I truly am fine and at ease with it. If we end in futility .. so be it. Not what I want, but it’s what I do think is more likely. Do I think Ray is going to hit his lower range of 60-70” forecast for Metheun.. no.. and I don’t think it’s even close . He has 19.5” YTD.. Could I be wrong ? Of course . Once Dec and Jan were lost.. it’s just easier to not care as much. And then when Feb was gone .. well even easier . If there’s events to track and enjoy.. I am all in . That’s just my mindset. Morch snow happens and it may this year.. but in my mind .. this winter will go down as one of the all time worsts of my 50 years. I’m just being objective
  9. I probably went right by your street . I get up there 1-2x a year . I have customers there. MVOH in Tilton is where I was this morning for an 11:00 . Was at Kettlehead a bit before noon
  10. Was hoping I’d see Dendy too, but he ignored my post this morning (shut in?)
  11. I’ve been out on winter since Dec . I am so at ease and peace . I am so confident in futility records that I bet Ginx beers vs weed. He wins .. I buy him weed. I win.. he buys me beers . Once you don’t care anymore it’s so much more relaxing and not stressful
  12. Absolutely. It was nice to see snow even though it was far less than what you had. I stopped at Kettlehead Brewery and picked up a few 4 packs to go
  13. Are we sure anyone in SNE is going to do ok? Is it possible this continues shifting back north?
  14. Ryan went from this yesterday To this today .. lol
  15. Just getting home and catching up here and perusing posts.. modeling started the inevitable shift back north based on posts
  16. I was up in Franklin and Tilton and then Keene today in NH. Coming home in far southern NH in Winchester there was an amazing amount of tree damage along route 10 heading south. White pines, maples.. looked like most species. That area must have gotten crushed with damage and power outages
