All of us were letdown this month. Any snow lover and winter fan was let down . We all had hope, dreams, aspirations of a pattern that did not deliver. And it was crushing. So if you are skeptical about any positive major snowy rest of winter.. you’ll still be let down,, but be able to “ deal with it”

The danger is wearing rose colored glasses is that one gets blinded and married to “rosy” ideas and won’t jump off the horse

Why not plan for the worst , and hope for the best ? To avoid letdowns and emotions

Well the grass has finally turned brown after the 5 day freeze/cold snap. No more green lawns. Baby steps ?

That will mean over a month between snow in most of SNE .. And most will be under 7”. No way in hell this turns around into even normal snowfall IMO

Looks like we all stay above freezing at night starting Thursday right thru day 10. At almost coldest Climo time of year.. that is nauseating . What a disaster winter thus far

The writing is on the wall unfortunately. No reason to look at long range thru rose colored glasses. Just setting selves up for more heartbreak

No signs of snow or much winter as far as models can see . This is just brutal

I never doubted it snowed. Just that there was a foot. I looked all thru the Gaylee records and surrounding areas. I apologize.

You at one point said a foot of OES in Westerly years ago. I distinctly recall it. Then last week one day you said 6-10” and then two later said 4-8” Meery Xmas!

Over half a winter wasted before we even have a chance of it cold enough to snow. That’s assuming the pattern changes
