  1. Have a big account right near there. I did! Great IPA selection .
  2. It’s the driest period of we lives
  3. I was in Brattleboro today. Hippies and pony 0’s everywhere . It was dry all the way up and down 91. Didn’t you have like 1.5” last week or maybe 10 days ago?
  4. I was looking at some too dry falls and Octobers and a bunch of them yielded hideous warm dry winters. I think that is likely this winter . Not just in the northeast , but a lot of the country. Maybe this winter bucks that that trend, but if I were a LR guy writing a blog or issuing outlook, I’d have a very low snowfall and qpf winter .
  5. Why are some folks expecting the pattern to magically turn wet this winter lol? These huge ridges don’t just magically go away . Some of the dry analog falls close to this year were awful snow winters
  6. We heard that 3 weeks ago for the matter part of this month . Stein will stay
  7. Congrats all who got the heavy rains this morning. Not a sprinkle here
  8. That thing is more than half bare after today. At times it was 1-2 per hour
  9. Look in the background. I’d say minimum half the Oak forest emptied today
  10. Red flag warnings to no warning for 3-6” leaves
  11. Stepping outside to fire up Blackstone.. WTF.. all this is from today .. 3-6” deep
  12. 80 Helloween This will allow a return southwest flow of much milder air back into the region Wed and especially by Thu. The EPS/GEFS anomalous upper level ridging setting up across the mid-Atlantic coast. Southwest flow should allow highs to probably reach back into the 70s by Wed and perhaps taking a run at 80 by Thu. Still quite a ways out...but certainly may challenge a few record highs given strong support from the EPS/GEFS guidance.
  13. Just an epic leaf disaster today . Oaks weeks ahead of schedule . Raining down by the thousands like men on Scooter on Brokeback
  14. Nah best most vibrant fall in 40 years!
  15. Sunny and windy. Let the burn begin
  16. Stein teaching very stern, very mean https://x.com/growingwisdom/status/1849052100036034592?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  17. Leaves pouring down this morning . Oaks will be bare in 2 weeks . Only good thing about this Stein hot fall
  18. Even Ryan today said the foliage this week went to shit. Maybe you’ve got a few red maples but it’s brutal and most admit it . Like I keri saying.. my job allows me to drive all over New England so I see a bunch of areas / weather etc. Far and away the best foliage this fall has been in SE areas of SNE. It is vibrant there as of today. As I drove NW into CT it got worse and worse. I’m not making foliage up lol. It is what it is . You and Wolf have some serious foliage rage
  19. I was in Fall River today and then drove from there to customers in S RI. Went thru Newport / Jamestown over the bridges there and noticed everything was green and lush and they had great and vibrant foliage (unlike anywhere in CT). I thought I recalled they had some heavy rains in that area that areas NW of 95 missed out on the last two weeks . It looked like a different world down there. They were even out mowing the grass on some of the highways. This map illustrates perfectly what I saw
