    It also may have been that winter. It was before my time on the boards and that timeline seems better than 06-07. Either way this just has started to give me that feeling . Not quite there yet.. but it’s out of the realm.

    This season reminds me of one in the early 2000’s. I don’t recall the year but the first inch of snowfall at BDL was not until like late January or even into Feb. I believe it was an El Niño year.

    This is exactly what I have been getting at . Growing up we had so many periods of extended snowcover . And it also used to snow and include Decembers. We aren’t just dreaming this stuff up . That’s why I’m such a snowpack fan. We basically have about 60 days now that can can snow and produce extended winter .

    Hang in there Mainer Rainers.. I saw at least 100 Electric trucks from Michigan, Ohio, Iowa and others heading NE on 84. They’re coming in droves.

    Was just waiting to pick cans at Treehouse and overheard a few people talking and the comment was “ looks like we’”re skipping winter this year.. the other guy says “ yup I don’t know what’s going on but it used to snow and then days he hasn’t had to put his dog in a sweater . I moved away from them

    And what a lot of peeps don’t know.. he had been writing songs for many country singers for years (Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan etc etc) and was always shy, and didn’t like to sing or perform , even though they all knew he had that voice. He was finally coerced to perform and sing and overcame that and in his early 40’s became one of the top 3 country artists almost overnight . Dude is just unbelievably talented . Even people anti country like Scooter @CoastalWxlike his stuff.

    I actually for the first time since early November when we had our only snow (dusting) like the look going forward. That one to me looks like it has a shot . Not a ton of cold air.. but enough
