  1. What if it keeps weakening and transfers earlier?
  2. It will not get above freezing interior CT with this look . We’ve all seen enough of these to know how they play out
  3. This isn’t that lol . That was a full blown nor’easter . I had no idea. SWey in Se MA furnaced like that
  4. I still vividly recall Mets on this board saying that event 2 years ago would not have much zr and there would not be any power or damage issues. And obviously there were in a small area. I’m not guaranteeing anything. But I will be very surprised if there’s not some significant issues come Monday
  5. With huge winds it will . I never thought it had that much of an impact until I went thru that awesome event
  6. When you get near 1/2” accretion it sure does. Obviously above that is when it goes up even more. What I learned in the zr storm here 2yrs ago though.. is with that amount of ice on trees.. and you rip 50-60 mph wind gusts like we’ll see Monday.. it’s probably going to be a big issue for a fairly large area
  7. I don’t think any models had the cold wedging all day today. A brief fropa spike is coming but they all busted
  8. Hard to argue the king of CT MC Ryan Hammertime
  9. Gfs today had 40’s up north of the pike. Not close to reality
  10. The Mesos like Nams are going to handle this cold much better than the coarse grained GFS. Buyer beware
  11. So was 12z and still cold . Watch that high to the NE
  12. Hammer is all in. Excitement is escalating
  13. This pic doesn’t really do justice to how thick the fog is, but it’s been like this all day after the zr ended mid morning
  14. There’s an odd pocket in this area of 33-34. All afternoon. At one point I dropped back to 32 around 1:00
  15. Fish is all in. Dr. Heatmiser https://x.com/ericfisher/status/1890140134382752059?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  16. It’ll probably spike briefly to mid- upper 30’s in next few hours as winds crank and go west
  17. Didn’t lose any pack today. It was 32 until after lunch and high was 34.2. Dew is 31-32.
  18. Sitting at 33.7. Still have some ice chunks falling off the trees . Fog as thick as I’ve ever seen it
  19. If it’s anything like I had here two years ago all hell will break loose with ice on trees . I’ll never forget that morning
  20. Nice meso low there which ultimately bombs out Sunday night bringing the wind Monday
