  1. First Oct in many many years of no late Oct blockbuster. Just more boredom and warmth . Exciting
  2. Whatever that guy says.. if you assume opposite .. you win . Never fails . Ask for an example.. sure last winter when he rode cold and snowy horse till the end and the horse stomped the hell out of his head in Morch . Crushed his skull
  3. Nothing screams late October in far N VT and Jancock more than this 10 day with one low temp in the mid 30’s and the vast majority of lows in the 50’s https://x.com/tylerjankoski/status/1714779643943792754?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  4. I’d be willing to bet the one near Helloween ends up backing off just like this one did
  5. You’ll likely get a solid frost there Tuesday morning. Probably 30-31. Here I’ll be lucky to get below 39
  6. 60’s today thru Saturday and then it’s 65-73 middle of next week thru Helloween into early Nov with pig east coast ridge . One or two nights of fake cold isn’t winter
  7. Lots of crickets out there chirping this morning. Never ending summer. Shorts season continues unabated well into November

  10. Saturday kind of has an October 3, 1979 look to it with the low cutting just west / triple point and dews surging into the 60’s. Interesting look
  11. You start to seriously wonder and think about if some sunny, warm spots like IJD, Taunton, BOS, BDL , Metheun etc could need to mow into early Dec this year .
  12. Nice bow tonight at daughter’s THS soccer game in Manchester. Saw Leprechaun Ray at end of it.. hopping around blogging about big, big winter
  13. Ever skinny dip the weenie in and out there? Dip dip.. drip drip
  14. Makeup melting off faces and bags of chocolate candy turning into liquid diarrhea?
  15. Odd with the acorns. Typically it’s 3-6” per day here of acorns no matter the species. But this year there’s really not that many. There’s one species that is dropping a ton of those small, soft shelled acorns, but those big boy round ones with the acorn lids are almost non existent. Those are the ones the squirrels go after. Weird that MA and NH would be getting crushed but not CT
