    Our neighborhood is pretty much one of three left in town with any type of snow. Even here in sunny spots grass is out . Hopefully the Vday storm happens .

    I want it to snow as badly as everyone. But we could get 75” from Feb 15 on out and it wouldn’t save the winter. Not for me anyway

    I don’t follow this line of thinking .. come Feb 15th we will have lost 2.5 out of 3 winter months. The vast majority of SNE has seen 15” of snow or less. You don’t save or salvage that type of winter. It’s lost. You can however get some snow to pad the stats to make it seem or “appear” better than it was. Thats really all that we are doing/ hoping.

    Suppression depression very real in this pattern change . Was very evident in that map Will posted a few days ago . Northern stream heavy and hoping something amplifies off of NJ. Still time to correct to more favorable though.

    That looks like all NW cold dry flow there. Theres no southern stream and it screams suppression . We’ll pass on 2 weeks of 26/15 and dry cracked ground and skin

    Just gouge eyes out with grapefruit spoon kind of things going on right now thru mid month. When there’s 6-9” on Taboo Trail in Eustis , ME there are serious problems

    I drove 6-7 minutes down route 74 into Vernon today . There’s nothing at all otg . Lower spots here in Tolland have snow but it’s definitely less . Under 700 feet is where you notice it . You can still see some of the trees caked in snow . I don’t radiate but the days stay colder so I take that as a good trade off in winter and marginal situations. This was Monday morning after I shoveled the inch from overnight . It’s sad how little snow there is . Don’t want sun

    I mean I got 2.5” this week and there’s been zero sun and days of flurries and temps below 32. I haven’t measured since it ended, but there’s no grass blades showing . It’s certainly at minimum 2”. With sleet/ ice in it . Took this today along with the other one I posted. It isn’t much at all .. but it has been a decent snow cover month believe it or not.
