  1. Why always use a valley pit like BDL that never gets good wind? That’s like using ORH for big heat .
  2. Rains gonna rain trains gonna train
  3. Ahh ok that was it. That thing ripped pike south . Looks so similar to the one coming
  4. There were a few in the 90’s we had that were life changers. I’ll say maybe one in 91-92 and maybe a similar one 93-94 or 95-96. One was in November. I lived in Vernon then and there were so many white pines and Evergreens snapped. Gusts 65-70. Again out of the SSE which any met SHOULD know.. is a trees most damaging direction . Sunday night looks like that potential . Especially east of Bristol
  5. And Hammer is big GFS soundings guy too. Thats his bread and butter . So trust me when I say this. He is on board
  6. I always laugh at the mehs and no wind and frontal passage posts on these. Think about Xmas morning 2 years ago . That was a great example of the mehs and folks woke up to no power and a foot of snow wiped to grass
  7. You recall the one last year. I’m not at all. There was l30-40 west of HFD. And posters didn’t believe the damage and 50-60 east . I recall all the posts about the surprise while areas east got ripped. I just dint remember which month it was
  8. Won’t be like the ones we had in the 90’s with trees bent to the ground.. but if these soundings are anywhere close to correct .. there’ll be 50-64 mph gusts .. mainly south of pike and east of a Springfield/ HFD line. Basically the area that sectors. We’ve seen these so many times.. it’s generally that setup
  9. Folks that live in SNE understand that SE winds are the most damaging due to prevalent winds being WNW. A 50+ SE gust does far more damage than 50+ NW gusts.
  10. It was mainly south of you. I believe it was One of the winter months. Jan or Feb? It was a pikesouth deal and east of HFD
  11. We seem to get these more often the last few years than we do snowstorms
  12. It’s the same setup south of pike as the one we had last year. I remember all the MA posters asking where big winds and damage was . South of pike got crushed. Especially the eastern 2/3 of CT and RI up To south of Scooter in S Wey .Gusted to and over 60 in many spots
  13. Just let em go. When their Xmas decorations end up in your yard.. you can pop them . They don’t understand the setup
  14. Here it comes https://x.com/bennollweather/status/1732391944372777033?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  15. Actually take a look from 925 down.. it’s a screamer and much will make to surface
  16. Another damaging screamer like we’ve got coming Sunday night.
  17. You can lead a gift horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
  18. Why not just use Imgur? It’s so easy. Helen Keller could do it.
  19. Light snow even here just began . Tiny weenie flakes and it’s very difficult to remain safe.
