  1. I had it last year . I think I was the only one who recognized it was possible the day before.
  2. Yup. I’ll never ever understand the disdain for big wind events in here. There’s a core group that loves them , but there’s some who would rather have sun and boredom. I’d take a major wind event over snow
  3. I wouldn’t discount it..Not this year/ winter. We just saw 3-6”
  4. Yes!! https://x.com/accuweather/status/1734635906609349060?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  5. It’ll probably end up over the Cape as usual . As boring a solution as possible as Mother Nature continues to rip boners into us.
  6. You get too hung up on slp pressures lol
  7. Days and days of high winds and rains to Maines .
  8. Not unless it trickles east like they sometimes like to do.
  9. GGEM rips the tempest right thru heart of SNE knocking down whole forests on its way NNE.
  10. It just seems like so many storms now are 27-28 powder inland and your area loses half the pine population with paste. I realize if it’s paste here, you’re rain .. but they just don’t happen as much as they used to.
  11. Well maybe I should just have said when it used to snow here then
  12. Would that offer a slightly better flip to snow if as strong as op just east?
  13. I understand that aspect of it but we just don’t get these tremendous elevation storms like we used to . I don’t mean ones like MLK where I lost it or a 3” event . I mean storms where the hills get 12-16” and the valley and coasts get half or less.
  14. If Euros right, we’ll get the rainy version of it Sunday nite/ Monday
  15. That was the last one . 31 years is not normal . Just like we don’t get canes anymore . Something is going on .
  16. Their CT map is terrible too. I measured 18” at my wife’s parents house after that . I had 6” in Vernon and remember driving up there in disbelief. So many trees and lines down . Where have these types of storms gone?
  17. @HIPPYVALLEY https://x.com/eweather13/status/1734540718712996161?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  18. That would take a lot of trees down all the way back to Wolfman and Iceberg
