Closing in on 70” fir the year . Almost 10” of rain in December. All liquid. Hard to even fathom that’s possible.. yet we lived it.

Most posters here are simply sick and tired of the promises. If it doesn’t snow a lot . One or two snowfalls in Jan.. ok sure .. that’s a change.. from 0.0 to 2.6. But who does that satisfy other than some hooker?

Mid Mayorch look there. Out of curiosity.. what does it normally look like in late December? And.. can we use grass and nature to predict the rest of the winter.. take notice of what Mother Nature is saying etc…??

Violently disagree. If the modeled change happens as forecast.. snow would follow . It goes hand in hand . You don’t change the pattern and not snow

There’s a large majority here on this board in this camp. They may be silent or they may post maps to the contrary.. but rest assured .. there is a lot of doubt this winter from the board. The hope is the models actually will be correct for once .

I think this post says a lot.. especially the last sentence . The majority of posters here , myself included, are in doubt of the pattern change and models being wrong once again. It’s just hard to buy in when they’ve basically been wrong for several years running. The whites of the eyes need to be seen . If and when that happens .. that’s what most people need to see.

One positive is the big 1-3” forecast rain amounts for tonight look to be a bust. Radar looks awful

Resorts should be offering half off for lift tickets right now . That would draw more people to slopes and also extends an olive branch to those diehards

I’ve always said in wx.. almost always when things get delayed they tend to not happen or not happen the way thought. Not always of course.. but the vast majority of times. Still holding a bit of hope , but those hopes are starting to fade .Especially with some of these long range Mets pulling the plug
