Can you imagine the excitement and giddiness and general party atmosphere that will be going on in here if and when it does snow again . Just to get an inch of snow . For most posters in SNE the first since last Feb . For now . Just a wish .

But losing December ruins the winter

We could get 200” over the next 2 months and it will never be a great winter. There’s nothing worse than a short winter or 4-6 weeks. You can liken it to summer. If you lose June to cold and wet .. all you have are July and August.. And you’ve got in the back of your mind how the late August sun loses its bite.. and there’s posters talking about leathery leaves and the first cool shot across the bow.

Ok.. but let’s judge the winter by months. Dec and any snow at all in general and in winter forecasts is lost . So all get an F We have 2 months left to grade and see how they turn out

Closing in on 70” fir the year . Almost 10” of rain in December. All liquid. Hard to even fathom that’s possible.. yet we lived it.

Most posters here are simply sick and tired of the promises. If it doesn’t snow a lot . One or two snowfalls in Jan.. ok sure .. that’s a change.. from 0.0 to 2.6. But who does that satisfy other than some hooker?

Mid Mayorch look there. Out of curiosity.. what does it normally look like in late December? And.. can we use grass and nature to predict the rest of the winter.. take notice of what Mother Nature is saying etc…??

Violently disagree. If the modeled change happens as forecast.. snow would follow . It goes hand in hand . You don’t change the pattern and not snow

There’s a large majority here on this board in this camp. They may be silent or they may post maps to the contrary.. but rest assured .. there is a lot of doubt this winter from the board. The hope is the models actually will be correct for once .
