  1. It’s been a long time coming. I’m hoping the local grid goes down . And whatever the paste doesn’t finish off, the screamer gusting to 70 will next week .
  2. Goes to bed Tuesday night with 13.5” OTG and chickens nestled comfortably.. wakes up to grass, mud, and chicken feet sticking up from floodwater
  3. This is an issue I have and I fully admit. I’ll enjoy the snow all day Sunday, but it’s tarnished and not as enjoyable knowing it’s all a dream by Tuesday night .
  4. EC storms don’t have any impacts to midwesterners so they likely don’t even look. Screamers and EC storms both affect us so we care about both. Huge difference
  5. Even just clippers or small snow events are poorly modeled. But when you see a screamer modeled it never fails
  6. I think there’s far more to it than that
  7. It really is amazing how models never waver from a week + out when we see these huge damaging screamers .. but with snowstorms they can’t get it right even at go time.
  8. Euro has the midweek storm deepening into the 960’s.. huge strong HP to the NE. Sure some inversion .. but that setup screams wind
  9. No I didn’t . One just posted and the other may or may not address
  10. Really it’s just the Euro and NAM north. Everything else did shift SE https://x.com/eweather13/status/1743244715045036285?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
