  1. For the folks that didn’t drop the second round of Lesco recently , red thread is running wild in lawns , from the wet, warm , humid spring the last couple months. Very noticeable during my run this morning and the wet grass.
  2. He lives at lower elevation than BDL. It’s a roast zone. Oh what a torch
  3. I like NH > VT, but both would work. Bigger key is escaping the NE springs and early summers and getting to heat and sun with storms and canes . Who knows how the climate will change over the next 20 years, but as of now that’s my dream retired life
  4. I would like to have a winter home in Jackson, NH, and a spring /summer home in coastal SC. We’ll see how that shakes out in 20 years when it’s time
  5. I wouldn’t be using any fluctuating op runs to forecast anything. EPS has had a solid heat signal for 4-5 days now end of month into Julorch
  6. That’s a good point. Tippy seems angry year round as the weather swings his emotions like a pendulum. But you’re right, it’s particularly noticeable in the late spring and early winter.
  7. Ahh..nice catch . He’s basing it on the CFS. I honestly could not figure it out
  8. Honestly .. why do you think it’s just going magically be 75 and dry all summer? I don’t understand that
  9. Not in July and August it’s not. You’re already on record in here last week posting you can see a very long stretch of high humidity.
  10. Oppressive is a weather term used in the community. Like cold or hot or wet.
  11. Is it oppressive ? No. But dews in mid 60’s is moist . The oppressive stuff seems like it holds off till last week of month into July
  12. Lol. This whole week they’re in the 60’s
  13. Agreed. Won’t be big heat. Just high dews
  14. Runaways worst dreams coming true with images of last summer .. dews and daily rains next week Surface dewpoints in the 60s, H85 approaching +15C, freezing level heights around 12-14 kft agl, and precipitable waters approaching 2- inches. Any localized convergence upon a deep-layer moist column beneath any measure of forcing combined with instability can surely lead to heavy downpours. And with the wave train forecast over the 3- days, there is some concern for localized flooding should the W-E train persist across S New England.
  15. Man it really furnaces in the BTV valley on south winds. I mean it went from like 63 at 10:30 to 80 in short order when sun ripped out today
  16. When you’re here in person it’s not https://i.imgur.com/Xb3e1d9.jpg
  17. Local wx guys saying pt sunny with overnight showers and 78 today. Then sun back out tomorrow with front south. Hopefully they right . There’s some breaks of blue up there now.
  18. It’s unbelievable beer. Easily on par with TH. I’ve had a few Foam before , but nothing like going to the brewery. BBC has great beers too. And finally got some Hill Farmstead last night at dinner on Bank St. Sick
  19. Just spotty light showers in BTV. Was 68 when we got to Foam and BBC. Dinner on Bank St and it was drizzling . Sun and 78 tomorrow. We man bun
