I’m now convinced they save the big repair jobs that involve poles and primaries for last. This ones going to be quite an undertaking . They must save those until the end and focus on getting important areas up and running that have easy repairs like a blown transformer

Trees went down in 2 directions here. First from the south/SSE and then when the sun came out the strongest gusts were out of the SW

On my run this morning I ran down 74 and I counted 14 utility trucks that passed me on their way back to Eversource. They drove right past the pole/ tree on lines, so I’m guessing it’s gotta be a bigger job. They have this massive staging area . It’s on Tolland side of Vernon line. There must have been 100 trucks sitting in that lot last night. The Illinois trucks were all parked in a commercial lot with restaurants and stores. Guys just standing there with hands in pockets drinking sodas and coffees.

That was hilarious. We on day 5. I saw probably 50 trucks from Decatur , Illinois last night on my way to pick up dinner at the Eversource building in town . Apparently they dispersed them elsewhere. I think one of the issues here is the one on 74 looks like the primaries are all shot and the pole is split.

Well is outside faucets . Inside is town water. Strange hook up . Most of the town is strictly well. Ice cold but it’s a shower .

That’s just my immediate hood and connecting streets. I didn’t take any other pictures. There’s a tree on main trunk lines on route 74. I’m fairly certain that’s our issue

I’ve been fine. Yeah constantly flipping light switches . Habitual I guess. The only issue is ice. Working 6 coolers and no ice around . Lost quite a bit of food. But found ice this morning . Power outages are fun if done correctly

It shows 49 customers in NB and fewer than 3 in Shelton . Those are UI towns mainly. So those 52 people in total are out that are Eversource customers

Do not agree. Both of those are distributed and have severely degraded. I would never seek those breweries out . I’d drink then if they were offered, but there’s probably hundreds if not thousands that are better
