  1. Just brutal for all winter wx fans. Brutal Nov leading to brutal dryness winter https://x.com/ericfisher/status/1853825304994742418?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  2. Biggest question which model is correct for rain on Sunday? GFS bringing the remnants of Raphael up here or Euro which doesn’t and is total Stein . Based on persistence .. how could one side with the GFS?
  3. I don’t think temps are the question . Everyone is in agreement that it’s another warm winter . Even @40/70 Benchmark. The question is will there be much qpf or do we go the way of 2001/02.. where the drought started late summer and continued right thru the winter and into the following summer . A dry winter is very much a concern and worry
  4. Nah .. it’ll start snowing and blowing on Dec 1. Just keep November hot and dry . It’ll change. It always does
  5. Technology yesterday hit 30.9 and first in car tops but with nothing frozen or killed.. its bit a freeze . I just don’t get the excitement over frosts. A few posters are sitting naked in metal folding chairs over it. To each their own I suppose.
  6. It’s all fake. Theres nothing cold or wintry about any of it lol
  7. 35.9 here while it’s 25 on the green at 650’. My low was 35.0
  8. Should I be worried? Screams of a night where there’s a 17-20 degree difference between here and 650’
  9. And almost no rain next 2 weeks . That one next Sunday gets shredded as it encounters the pig WAR
  10. Nope. They are out and exposed with no trees . And even if they were under a tree.. there’s no leaves left
  11. AWT.. no freeze . They made it thru just fine and Jim Dandy. A freeze happens with lows in upper 20’s for a few hours . Not an hour under 32
  12. I’ve been watering at least every other day all of September and Oct. With my new lawn it would have all died with the shallow root system not yet established. You have a weed filled clover lawn .. you wouldn’t understand. Across street is what many lawn look like and all across wide open roads and highways.
  13. Grass south of Pike has been torched since September. Unless you’ve been watering its Oklahoma landscape . Dust is all over everything
  14. With no ice, and vegetables surviving we don’t freeze
  15. I don’t consider 31 a freeze. We’ll see how the pepper plants did and judge
  16. And another one! LFG https://x.com/tollandalert/status/1852757557347037481?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  17. About 2 miles NNE of me https://x.com/tndispatch/status/1852741885078700265?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
