  3. It’s def unstable with the towering CU field amidst the junk. But there’s just too much cloudiness . Needed sun. Maybe tomorrow ends up ok
  4. Well Uconn/ Storrs is much better. They sit up about 600 feet or so . IJD is like sea level lol
  5. Snowcover is brutal too. I can’t pinpoint one reason why the area is so bad, it’s just a combination of things. Not to say they can’t get a good storm there , because they certainly can and have.
  6. It’s an awful awful area for snow. They get screwed every way possible whether it’s proximity to ocean , downsloping or sucker holed. They avg in the mid 30’s or so. It’s actually a medium sized city
  7. Today’s threat is mainly SW of SNE. Maybe a few evening storms but not severe . Tomorrow afternoon looks like best chances are north and east of the Pike
  8. You wonder if we may pull a 55 type year with a Connie and Diane. What the first doesn’t take down, the second does kind of thing
  9. Many mets and folks here have been saying a 38 type cane is coming this fall. Let’s do it!
  10. 67 here currently. He generally picks a short window snapshot of when it’s modeled to be lower for an hour or two rather than the whole day
