  1. Yep calorie burn felt good enough for me to slam down about a dozen wings after I was done. My body was like wow, we might be net negative calories for the day! Nope! Here comes the wings!
  2. I do, but many times I set around half of the next day waiting on someone to get around to it. I have a business that uses the driveway. Most of the time I just suck it up and do it myself. Like now. It's done.
  3. I am 56 and I am about to the point I can't do it anymore. Well, I can do it, it just kills me for 3 or 4 days afterwards. All busted up tonight. I have a 28 inch Cub cadet 3X and my driveway and lot is huge. Takes 2-3 hrs.
  4. I think we ended up somewhere around 8.5-9 here when it was all said and done. That was enough for me to break 2 shear pins on the snow blower. My storms are ranked by shear pin breakage. 8-10 inches is a 2 pinner....
  5. When it was hammering here the flakes were huge and piled up quick.
  6. I am NW of Cumberland. That is the band that hit me.
  7. Yes it was at least that. I shoveled the walk and when I went back out an hour or so later could tell it was at least 3 inches so I measured it. Couldn't believe it so I re measured lol. Probably 8 now but the heavy band has let up some now. Back to moderate. This is shaping up to be the best snow IMBY for a couple years.
  8. That heavy band I have been under is moving east. Everyone out there hopefully gets some of that!
  9. OK its off the rocker now...I just measured 7 over inches. Puking snow now lol. Our pink pig in the turn has caved....
  10. 4 inches on the car roof so far. Heavy snow now. Love it!
  11. You got the right. I live right in the middle of that zone in Bedford Co. Almost never get the good snows. Always North South East or West of me.
  12. Sure is.....Its the part I can do without!
  13. All except for the hurricane force wind gusts and blowing a drifting snow. Siberia is probably nicer today.
  14. That has started the snow up here again in Bedford Co too. Hoping it adds a few inches because I am only around 3 or so as of right now.
  15. I am 3 miles north of the Turnpike in Bedford Co. So I still hold out hope I can get the snow blower out.
  16. I broke down and summerized the snow blower yesterday.
  17. Ah the good ol days......When they actually predicted a huge storm in advance, and it happened.
  18. Hard to measure with wind blowing but I think we got 5 inches or so here just North of Everett PA.
  19. Ground white here already with moderate to heavy snow. Temp at 28.
  20. I'll take it. We only got 3 inches from the Tuesday storm so maybe this will make up for it.
  21. Same here. Hopefully do better than the 3 inches from last storm. I just want to use the snow blower a few more times this year. .WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches possible. * WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.
  22. Looks like we ended up with 3 inches here. Kinda disappointing considering we were in a WSW yesterday and at one point SC had us in the 6-8 range but this was a tricky storm to predict.
  23. 63 here lol. Working in Garage with the doors up.
  24. It will be nice to not having to listen to my furnace running 24-7 which ultimately makes my bank account get smaller. No models needed to forcast that.
