  1. 3.74 for the day so far out here in the sticks of Warren County. Many reports of flooding in Newton NJ along Route 206.

  5. Received over 5 inches of rain today in Central Warren County. A little worried about those cells down in Philly at this hour. If they hold together and pass through here things may start to get ugly.
  6. Heard power still out in Sparta and Lafayette. Traffic lights still out along Route 15 in Lafayette.
  7. House struck by lightning in Harmony Twp (Warren County) shortly after 9pm tonight. That lightning and thunder was ridiculous. Picked up 0.68" of rain for today so far.

  12. Coming down at a pretty good clip now here at work in West Caldwell (Western Essex County) after raining all night. Temp now down to 34 accumulating nicely on cars and grassy surfaces.
  13. Approaching 2AM in January with a mini squall line developing in Central NJ at this hour. What a weird Winter this is.

  16. Just went from nothing all morning to a light steady snow here in Central Warren County, NJ.
  17. Just getting pummeled out here in Warren County. Temps down to 26 degrees at 11am. We quickly flipped to moderate snow at 8:30 this morning after some very brief sleet.

  19. Gusted to 32 MPH moments ago with the passing of that squall line out here in Warren County.
  20. Doing very well so far out here in Warren County, NJ. Temps down to 31 with mod snow. 50+ degree temps yesterday have had little affect on blacktop accumulations. Roadways are now covered.
  21. Lee Goldberg on Facebook just reported 12.5 inches down in Forked River, NJ.
  22. Arctic front must have just pushed through here. Winds have suddenly picked up at 3am. Back to bed!!
