WBRE Wx

My name is Dave Skutnik and I am one of the Meteorologists at WBRE (NBC) in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I've been in television for over 10 years, getting my start on the show Weather World during my days at Penn State. I graduated in 2001 and immediately started my first job as Chief Meteorologist of WHIZ in Zanesville, Ohio. In early 2003 I moved to Maryland and worked at WHAG (NBC25) for a little over two years. I came here to WBRE in June 2005 and have been here ever since. Besides weather I'm a sports nut, all Philly all the time, since I grew up in South Jersey, where my parents still live. I work down in the Wyoming Valley but my home is in Mountain Top, a good 1,000' further up, so the weather can be very different between home and work, even though they're only 8 miles apart!
