  1. Sun is already out. Low clouds are burning fast. Doesn't seem to be much mid/high level crap. I think York county sees a tornado Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. Reed Trimmer will be in southern pa Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. See it in IMAX Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. In June Austin mean temperature was 83.8, normal 82.2 so +1.6. July through 7/29 mean temperature has been 87.3 with normal 84.5 so 2.8 So for those 59 days mean temperature has been 85.5 with normal being 83.2. 2.3 degrees above normal. Also remember that Austin normal average high in July is 96. Hitting a 100 there is like KMDT hitting 91 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. Average mean temperatures from 6/1 to 7/29 nationally Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  10. The ICON now has hi res 7km for all of Europe and higher res 2km for northern Europe. Hopefully soon they bring that shit over here along with JMA hi res. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. I am jealous of the Boston folks who get to read afd like this regularly Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. Do you normally wake up at 5? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. At least it left boundaries for future storms Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. That's going to get pushed back awhile. If not we can just think of it like a throwback to the 1980s and enjoy the massive surprises Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. Haha, dear God. Notice how FV3 is never never mentioned in afds at all. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. This summer has showed me just how much work needs to be done on the meso models in convection rich environments. For NWS offices to admit in afd of their futility and frustration with them as well as to throwing them all out and "hand drawing", haha. Those are some shots across the bow maybe to the model division. I saw Scott is on his way back up near us. Maybe he can shed some light eventually on the model mayhem. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. Some of the other NWS locations near us are lamenting over the extreme run to run inconsistentcy of all the meso models. So much so where they are whole sale throwing them out and hand drawing precipitation totals and rain probability. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. Florida rain Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. I understand great valley and such, but part of the great valley got nailed. Your rain luck is about as good as my ex's slot machine luck. At least you don't beg for money saying "I'm due". Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. It looked like it went right over you Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. How much rain @Bubbler86 ? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. Highspire weather station rocking a 96/82 for HI of 120 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. I think the eruption last summer throwing so much water vapor high into the atmosphere is having an outsized effect lately and it will be shown in papers published in next couple years Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. I believe the whole "normal" trade winds have been off the whole summer. It's one of the reasons extreme heat has built like it has, but another consequence is the precipitation distribution. Ft Lauderdale is so high due to their freak all time record 20"+ of rain in one day Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
