  1. Usually in locations with a mostly west component to their wind, the western slopes do a lot better than east facing slopes. Are you on the west facing slope? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. 1899 was first year they have records at Hagerstown. That's why I limited my comparison at KMDT to 1899 to present. And right I have no idea of the past history of where the sites were. And I also suspect that you're unique location in the valley further throws a wrench into comparations. I'll have to look at the climate data depot to see if there are any past co-op observations from your area. Also, it seems this summer that if you were 5-10 miles west, closer to Waynesboro you would have a lot more rain Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. From 1899 to 2000 Hgr 37.53" KMDT 38.41' 25 years is but last week I was reading papers that were pointing out cycles that went covered 50 years Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. The question I have is if this dryness is part of a long cycle or a permanent shift. Looking at top years it's pretty similar to Harrisburg. Looking at whole history they are about 37.5" vs 39" per year. Looking at 2000 forward is where a difference has been. 35" vs 44.5". If anything Harrisburg has been twice as abnormally wet as Hagerstown has been abnormally dry Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. I feel like a long as you don't care about growing grass or things that that might be a selling point to where you live for some people Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. He'd need much more oxy and meth Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. Climbed down the front? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. The average year of your top 10 is 1983. The average year of Harrisburg top 10 is 1948 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. KMDT actually has the 37th wettest start to the year out of 136 years currently Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. Actually Harrisburg is close Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. They have a lot of low rain totals in their record books it seems Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. It was almost over. 0.73" MTD Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. I can take solace in that I personally broke the record for driest July ever at 0.71". If we actually get moisture in August I'm sure @canderson and I will eventually get smoked. We can't keep missing these forever Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. I'll take hot if I can get 8" Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. Looks like 0.13" will be total. If airport gets that we tie record Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. Haha, my MTD to now 0.65". Canderson isn't above 0.50". At least I had a 4" June. He had a sub 2" one Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. The blob gave me 0.05" Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. Watch KMDT get enough to ruin the record while I get shut out with my 0.53" MTD Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. It's all dying as it hits our wall. Wunderground now has me getting no rain with only a 30% chance. This has been so predictable Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. I know I missed a big lightning and thunderstorm when I was in Hilton head, but for God's sake I haven't seen lightning in person at my house since May. The best thunderstorm I've had all year came in February Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. I'm laughing that we are under a meso discussion for flooding yet we can't even get a shower to hold together enough to hit Harrisburg. My wunderground forecast is now for 0.11" of rain and rain percentage has gone from 91% to 55% and falling like a rock Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. Think about if it had a little mini fridge, small flat screen tv with wireless connection to your house to stream cable or Internet and some of musks self driving technology Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
