All this means is the current climate reporting regime is wholly unsatisfactory in its design and mission. If you look at weather stations in most of the population centres on the west shore of Harrisburg suburbs you will be met with rainfall below 50% from June onward and 25% from July onwards. To a large population around Harrisburg this summer will be one of drought and heat and it is not there memory that is wrong. There cannot be a proper reckoning with our records until we start to pull in these amateur weather stations into official records. I'm minus 1.70" for year and minus 3.17" since June 1st. I'm at 24.15, 4.74" leas than KMDT. At this point I am praying for a 6"+ rainfall from this system regardless of what that means for anyone else. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

I fly out to Boston tomorrow. Going to be staying south of the city a bit for the week. They are forecast to get over three inches of rain so maybe my bad luck will carry up there. But more than likely I'll miss out on all the rain until I have to drive back on Friday then we'll get 3 inches of rain that day I'm driving back. So I have kept track what wunderground says I should get the next day. I wrote down totals between 8pm and midnight the last 5 weeks. Forcast: 6.23" Actual: 1.01" 16.2% I really think they need to reduce there forecast by at least 50% if not 75% on what models show Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Wunderground started out the day forcasting 1.35". Went up to 1.85". Now is at 0.07". I've received 0.02" today. I actually looked into myself being a bad luck charm. Since May 13 if I follow just the places I am at on the days im there I have received an impressive 2.56" in 13 weeks Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

These storms just west of me are testing my patience. They seem like the lot that Will not move until they drop every bit of rain on those areas and leave me high and dry just taunting me. I've grappled all summer at what temperature to mentally accept a heatwave at. I wanted it to be 95. I love the number, plus it's temperature in Celsius is 35 exactly. I just have an issue thinking 94 is not hot. I can easily explain away at the 93 being just a bit above normal, but 94 is in that real grey area that's more than 5 above normal.
