I was looking over the 5 min readings of rainfall at the peak of the storm and I'm very confident that 6.26" of rainfall was significantly underestimate or true amount. At peak intensity rates of over 2" an hour the 5 minute totals only went up 0.01" in some instances. I'll have to throw those readings into excel and try to calculate rain total from intensity and smoothing, but I wouldn't be surprised if the true totals were over 8* Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

It's a tragedy but man oh man. I've kyacked a lot and I'm guessing these people were out there looking for a wild ride. Sometimes its just stupid tragic luck, but far too often it's people in way over there heads. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

I finally have enough water pressure to shower, yippie!!! My a/c also broke and I can't get repair man here till Tuesday. Thank god we have nice temps, especially lows until then. Was able to open windows last night and get house into upper 60s before closing them. Temp is still only 75 inside and cooler in basement Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

My drive from Boston to Philadelphia took 10 hours instead of 6. Tropical rain is hell to drive in and far far heavier than any radar return presents Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
