  13. Looking at for about 10k-15k total, including lodging and food and a month off I can take Amtrak all the way to Bellingham Washington, a ferry all along Alaska coast to Aleutian islands and back, followed by train to southern California, across the South then back home Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  15. Also, I can't imagine spending that much time on a day off waiting to save less than $20 on gas. Look how much you spend on gas to keep the car idling with the A/C on. Then deduct it from your gas savings and divide by time waited. Is your time really worth that little? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  18. As I've gotten older I figured the cold would bother me more and the heat less. Reality is the true artic cold does bother me more, as does any temperature above 80. I need to go move to the Scottish Highlands or some place that stays between 20 and 80 with 200+ days of precipitation a year Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  21. I have two weather stations close to me. One is 1 mile southwest. The other 1 mile east. The southwest weather station has 23.71" for the year and the east one has 17.46". For May through YTD the south west has 7.08" the east 4.37" For January and February the Southwest has 6.87" the east has 2.96 Now I can understand in the summer having a big difference due to a day or two of training storms where 2 miles makes a huge difference but this data is absurd. Now I'm thinking I can't trust any of those station as a 35% difference that happened piecemail over both summer and winter where a straight line between the two stations is actually only 1.3 miles is insane Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. Watch out till 11 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. 2-3" hail from spotters in that storm up by pillow Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. It would be so helpful to have that Lancaster radar up and running right now. It's hard to figure out what's going on when the radar beam is just about 7,000 ft at 75 mile distance Not sure if velocity is weakening or if beam is now overshooting. The storm had strongest signatures when beam was below 6,000ft Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  25. That's got to be some big hail Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
