  1. At 10 pm at KCXY it was 86/73 felt like 93 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. Certainly not looking good for you. I wish I knew what was disinhibiting development to your south west Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. I've made mead. It can certainly pack a bunch if you wanted it to. Also people back in the day drank a lot more than today Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. 730 update Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. I'm from Pittsburgh orginally. There's a reason so many movies are filmed. Amazing little ethnic enclaves with awesome local restaurant and bars. Plus the local music scene is top 10 nationwide. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. FFW watches are almost like the opposite of WSW. No one cares if they are hoisted, but god damn, if there are no warnings before something hits people get mad. We can try to be all technical with when they should be presented, and there are standards within the NWS, but lest we forgot, they are issued for the benefit of the public at large; thus human psychology and nature absolutely should be as important driver as actual weather. 7. This is one recent run of HRRR. It changed constantly Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. I think the issue is the error range on mesos recently with convection. It's been pretty big. If the ingredients are there, what do you do? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. If you got 8" in one storm, would anything happen besides some flash flooding and people critical that somehow they are still under a drought but rainfall is "normal" Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. Shear values today are going to be way way higher than modeled. That with the absolute swamp ass of an air mass equals somebody around here is going to get a "surprise" walloping from a storm. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. The LSV split Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. By 11am Saturday Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. I had second street closed for like 20 minutes Monday cause I walked in and smelled nothing but natural gas. Turns out some pilot light was out and seeping since we had closed last Saturday. I let the fire department light that fucker up again. I don't get paid enough to possibly blow myself up. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. I think KCXY just hit 80 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. My parents keep the a/c at 74/75. Their room isn't on the top floor. The one spare bedroom is. It defiantly is warmer up there. I've actually gone as far as having two big fans blasting on high while I soak a pillow case in ice water, with a couple frozen gel packs inside to place on my back as both fans blast me. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. That looks like a fun line of storms up north. Sucks it won't be plowing SSE towards us. I have a feeling a few of us are going to be shut out tomorrow as well. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. KCXY is 88/65 at noon. Haha. 50/50 odds it touches 100 tomorrow Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. I once dated a girl for a whole hot season soley due to her place having A/C and especially her keeping her bedroom like the artic while I lived in crappy no ac apartment. So worth it. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. Thursday might be the worst day of the year. Forecast for KMDT is 94, so KCXY will be about 97-100. Dews up around 70. I wish I could just sleep that entire day in my 63 degree bedroom. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. I need to find an area where 90/70 occurs at the same frequency we hit -20. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. Look at CXY HI compared to others, haha. I've been there. It definitely can get quite warm and humid compared to area. Yet, I sometimes wonder about the equipment there. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. I'm far outside my realm of reasonable pondering, but the faint bit of knowledge of those from the realm have hinted that models assumed a warmer precedent lower level would filter up to warmer mid and upper levels, where what as happened is a cooler mid to upper levels that helps balance the giant heat transport engine that is our weather. Now weather this is transitory or a more permanent aspect of climate change who knows. It's way to early. Although I do think there are some people that need humbled Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. The NAM delays shit hit to morning Friday. At some point timing matters for instability. Another point is I've gone to using ensembles for anything over 48 hours and only use HRRR or NAM3k for 3 maybe 6 hours at a time. Because the mesos between 6-48 have been that bad Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. Millersville is also a state university Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  25. Basically it's going to come down to if we have to pay to access it Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
