lol. Still have time for the solution to change 7 or 8 times before the event. I wonder if this will appear on the GFS late tonight or tomorrow. Its just painful to watch the city get pounded and we get a few flakes.

0Z Nam looks like a interresting finish to this weeks storm, timing is everything. Not liking the sag in the front for the lower valley Low of 25F this morning, tonight should get lower, perfect rad cooling condisions 29F ATM

Just looked at the 12Z goofious . 0Z had no southern stream storms, 12Z develops a huge trough, 850mb 0 line at the GOM, takes a GOM low and whips it way out to sea which was the 12-5/6 storm which was a wave tracking west ---> east on the 0Z. 12Z keeps us cold thru out the period Waiting on the 0Z to flip again.

27F for the low this morning. It might get interresting at the end of the storm Wen night if the timing works out which doesn't always work out. GFS is free of any southern stearm storms. ATM the Dec 5th - 6th event looks like nothing for the southern end of the valley. Maybe some action for northern valley and east of the river. Low way east of the area with a wave passing to the south.

GFS still shows a cool down late next week, a few days colder then the rest and keeps our area north of the 850 line for about the entire run for what its worth.

I am looking forward to seeing the 12z runs today. The GFS has been pretty consistant showing cold coming in next Thursday. even the euro is swinging that way now.

I am feeling it now lol. I'll have to check the gauge when I get home.

Got woken up at around 3:30 by the alert radio going off for a severe watch. I was just falling back to sleep and it went off again in ten minutes with a warning (not bad for November!) so I stayed up to watch. Very cool squall line, I started hearing the wind in the distance about 10 minutes before the line hit. Impressive winds came in when the line hit, lasted about 10 minutes. The weather station at OCESC had 48mph gust as the squall line came thru.

I topped out @ 58F and a low of 27F this morning. I cut the grass with my lawn tractor and mulched the lawns on the lawn. I have one tree with about 30% left on the tree and another big sucker with ALL still up on the tree. They're both flowering trees and hold their leaves until the bitter end every year so I still have a few more weeks of mulching left. I hope they both drop by Thanksgiving or else its going to get messy with wires on the ground for xmas lights. Glad to see most of the crew has made it, I think we're missing NYWEATHERMOM ?
