    Send some of those to 495/pike Yeah--it's a fascinating history of the lost towns of the Quabbin: Dana, Greenwich, Enfield and Prescott. I've read a few books on the history of it--really should be a movie. Not a Deliverance movie--though that had to do with drowning a town, too.

    We built a room on our house which is ideal for snow watching (and severe watching for that matter). I'll call it the weenie room. I'll be breaking it in tomorrow.

    All the watch areas were upgraded to warning and they through in Putnum County CT to boot.

    Growing up in New London, I remember one storm gave us 8". I was awed--and might have even charge a buck or two more for shoveling walks/drives. I'm sure glad I don't live there anymore. And fortunately, I'm now on that line from Kevin to Ray.

    Not dramatically different from NAMs and HRRR.

    GFS is crushing eastern areas at 12z. Not sure how long that lasts.

    I'm really looking forward (or dreading) the HRRR. It's been pretty aggressive with this. Hope it remains so now that we're closer in.
