18z GEFS show a lot of whiffs. Tips "correction vector" doesn't bode well. Hopefully we'll see a better clustering of them closer in with the 00z run

BOX is bullish. Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Sunday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Monday Partly sunny, with a high near 37. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

BOX hinting at 4-8. Sunday through Tuesday... Clipper low and associated upper system drop southeast through the Midwest and to the Mid Atlantic coast, then moves out to sea. Forecast guidance suggests a dry passage for New England. Certainly, the GFS is dry. However, the ECMWF shows measureable precip along CT- RI-SE MA Sunday night and Monday. The forecast remains dry, but with low confidence. This one will need to be watched.

First day of the fall that actually feels like winter. Wind’s will definitely reign in low temps for a lot of folks. Windchill will keep it feeling cold though.

One and done at Pit2. Over the wall in Westborough, into the Kennebec at Pit2. One tree still hanging on, but they’ll drop on the neighbors mostly.

I got a Cub-Cadet. I wanted to go with a Craftsman that was larger, but ended up getting a Cubcadet as my wife saw it rated at top by Consumer Reports. Alas, can't go against the wife. Cub Cadet 2-Stage Snow Blower, 2 x 24 in., 31AM5CVR709 at Tractor Supply Co.
