  1. Borrowed time. Put this in the meh-category. At least we didn't wash away a snowpack this Christmas.
  2. Yeah--it keeps Northern ORH and western Middlesex cold throughout. Congrats, Dave. The 3k keeps me freezing throughout. HRRR has slowed the warmth a smidge the last couple of runs. Nothing too dramatic, though in the situation where .5* can make a difference, I guess it's still impactful.
  3. Amost all south of NH will be by then. You might among the few that don't hough, Valley ftw.
  4. Was shocked to have some flakes mix in as we returned from our walk. Lasted about 15 seconds. Meanwhile, road's fine. I'm sure there will be slick patches, but they were really just wet. Driveways that had been shoveled on the other hand....they were ice rinks. My dog discovered that each time she stepped on one. The drizzle was even freezing on my coat. I was surprised by that. It must insulate pretty well.
  5. I hate hate hate that. Off to walk the dog.....hopefully it's not too bad.....our mile-long loop is one big down hill and then back up.
  6. I was just about to post that I wish we cold get some cold bleed from Maine. It looks like from north of RT 2 to Brian will be where the ice will be of significance. Hopefully Dave can cash in, too and share some good pics.
  7. Merry Christmas! Is my assumption your glaze is in Hamden and not Fisher's correct?
  8. I think the HRRR depiction is due to warmer temps, not qpf. It has the freezing line up to the Pike region by 9:00am.
  9. I'm surprised the HRRR is so paltry on the ice. Looks like the NAM is a decent compromise between it and the RGEM
  10. Merry Christmas, Weenies! Meh-ry to significant on the latest models. (except for NH---dinner by candlelight for a few)
  11. I for one would welcome an extreme cold outbreak. It’s been a few years since we had one. I think this was Jan 2018.
  12. Fortunately I didn't bother shoveling the driveway.......it's pretty steep so it'll be great having traction with the possibility of ice.
  13. NAM has all of SNE except Lunenburg above freezing by 10:00am. Meanwhile Jeff doesn't break freezing until Sunday afternoon
  14. Yeah--lots of people list them after the new year. Oh---you mean for snow.
  15. I won't need that......250 will be fine on a 23'. Definitley going used. Still awaiting the okay from my "accountant". We'll see how my daughter's college tuition bill checks out.
  16. I hadn't realized there was such a sharp cut-off on the snow amounts up there last week. PWM was over 7" and Pit2 wound up with only about 2", that's less than 40 miles up the coast.
  17. thanks. A baby-Grady's nice, but I'm leaning toward a 23'. It'll need a few more pony's than an 18'.
