    Just finished mowing....hoping this'll be the last of the season. At this time of year, I have much less focus on the lawn looking good, but might my gut says I'll need to get out there at least one more time.

    Heavy rains yesterday and last night here at Pit2 along with what I hope was a last hurrah at about 6:00a.m. which was apparently the front as the temp's dopped. Looks like we wound up with a couple inches=plus based on area reports.

    Winds are cranking here at Pit2. Most boats were taken from the water but a couple just moved from docks to their moorings. Those three have moved noticeably overnight--hopefully that'll stop.

    I'm hoping BOX puts out a rainfall totals pns for today. It was pretty unbelievable in Dudley--I'm sure we weren't alone.

    How widespread do people anticipate the progged showers during the day on Friday will be? We have a tent for an event we're having--but I'm really hoping for sun.

    Haven't seen any storm report totals, but what I experienced between FRaminingham and Boston/Cambridge sure must have dropped some big totals.

    So I"m getting mixed signals on how Saturday's going to play out. Is it salvagable?

    Yeah--by brother-in-law lives there. I think that went into effect a year or so ago. Don't worry--landscapers can continue to use them so just hire someone to do your leaves. It doesn't make noise if it's a landscaper. Go figure.
