  1. I'm guessing I'm going to wind up with a really ugly net-gain. I almost wish it would all get washed away and could start anew in December.
  2. Walking the dog was hell. 1) misjudged the 'lull' depicted on the radar. Got soaked 2) driveway 3" of slush 3) despite the road being plowed and streams running down the hill, it was exceptioanlly icy under the water. I stood still and my husky-mix was acting like a husky just pulling me along. Temp bouncing between 38-40.
  3. They're spaced perfectly to interfere with each other, letting the winter continue steady-as-she-goes.
  4. Send them this way.....I've been holding off on my dog's morning walk.
  5. Temp up to 41* with a smidge of fog. Let's see if it can clear the driveway.
  6. This will do wonders for your grass come lawn-thread time! Back down to 39*.
  7. How's your temp doing? PWM checking in at 36*
  8. Eye-balling things more closely, I think I might have wound up with at least 4". I think I'll likely have to clear my drive (pretty steep hill) and definitely from what the plow's left at the end. 39*
  9. I've been wondering the same thing. I suspect there will be reason to clear it.......but not sure if we'll have NEED to do so. Important difference. Up to 39* here.
  10. Looks like PWM had no more than an hour of snow, RKD may have started as snow, but quickly went to rain. IWI at 35*, AUG at 19* lol
  11. Got up just in time to still see some flakes mixed in. Appears to be all rain now. 32", looks like 3" prior to the changeover.
  12. Congrats, Pete and Mitch. Still snowing in northern Maine at this point.
  13. What's the best thinking as to when the snow will be changing to rain in Worcester. Asking for a wife.
  14. Congrats to the lucky few. WHAT...For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
  15. Store it with the used solar batteries we don't know what to do with. Wildcat stands a chance.
  16. The 3" glaciers of SNE sublimate away giving a head start for the rains. It became an easy call to stay put in Mass. Pit 2 will be really windy, but who really cares if you're staying inside?
