Not sure what all the hype was about today being a scorcher. My car was reading 86 and the two sensors at my shade-filled casa are 82. Meh.

I suppose if you ignore the 78, 81, 83 that's in the middle, you might call it 'hot' and a 'pattern'. However, if you take it as a whole, it's not.

Now that we're over the hump and heading down the other side of the solstice, I wonder if we'll see any signs like this in the coming season.

They brought the temps down for Pit2 this week. Going with highs of 68 on Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday. Break into the 70's on Friday with at 72*. Perfect.

Well two hours of sun have reverted to heavy overcast. MIL just walked in and shut all the windows. lol 61*

What a fantastic day. Sun came out about 2 hours ago (still a lot of clouds around) 63*--feels great in the near-solstice sun and pretty cool in the shade. The only downside is the blustery wind. Makes casting really tough so no fishing.
