  1. Same here. I’m guessing we might picked up 4-5. Wasn’t expecting that. Not sure what’s left in the tank.
  2. What is that weird looking return going down toward the canal? Meanwhile, ORH verified a blizzard. As of 530 PM on Saturday, January 29, some snow was still occurring across the region, so we will issue a more complete report, listing durations of blizzard conditions, early next week. However, in the meantime, we can confirm that the following locations did meet blizzard criteria today... In Rhode Island... Providence (KPVD) Westerly (KWST) Newport (KUUU) Block Island (KBID) In Massachusetts... Boston (KBOS) Worcester (KORH) Beverly (KBVY) Hyannis (KHYA) Marshfield (KGHG) Martha`s Vineyard (KMVY) Stations at Chatham (KCQX), Falmouth (KFMH), Provincetown (KPVC), and Smithfield (KSFZ) were unable to be determined because they stopped reporting wind, visibility, or all data.
  3. Agree--just walked the dog and there was 3/4 of an inch on the driveway when I got back Keep it going.
  4. Truth told--I prefer a snow without the wind. Just let it pile up. And in the spirit of not piling up, my wife reports there's nothing to measure at Pit2 and no snow at all on the cars. Wind's still howling up there.
  5. Just got in from clearing drive....cold as a witch's tit out there.
  6. From my wife at Pit2. Wind is keeping the deck clear and lawn only whitened. Her car is spotless. Lol i suspect people up tor road aren’t saying that.
  7. I've held off on the snowblower. I'm not sure how deep it can clear, but I'm counting on the wind clearing some of it. Of course, it might just be drifting it deeper.
  8. Visibility down to a couple hundred feet right now. 17* here, just noticed it's only 9* at Pit2. The hounds of winter.
  9. Cranking snow and wind here.....you were right Will--it moved west about 5 minutes after your post and rocking ever since.
  10. Congrats. Looks like I'm going to be stuck on the fringe. Cringeworthy to be just a few miles from those stronger returns. I'm getting waves of intense but it's not consistent. Maybe it'll move a few miles west, but it looks pretty stationary.
  11. Is there an update from the 7:00a.m. map? I'm not seeing it.
  12. GON is getting crushed. Don't see that very often--worst snowspot in all of New England. Cory should head there for his next snow chase.
  13. My daughter in Marion is probably sleeping through the best snow rates of her lifetime.
