  1. Started snowing a few minutes ago......not squall-like yet hat's for sure. Fingers crossed.
  2. I'll enjoy the steady light-to-moderate snow we've had the last 1/2 hour. It's whitened things up in any case.
  3. My daughter is up at Surgarbush---repoorted whiteo-out about 30 minutes ago.

  7. This just came up in my FB memories. Pit2 in 2017. According to my post, we had 41" over the course of the week with another foot forecast for that day (which I recall under-performed). In any case, a tremendous stretch.

  9. Conservatively eyeballing about 7", I"ll await the official NWS measurement. Never really paid attention--surprised. sn-

  15. I confess to having very little knowledge on interpreting these things so correct me where I'm wrong. If this is showing trends of March-April-May, how can you point to just March? Isn't it possible that March comes in above, offset by April/May? Thanks for clarifyhing. In other news, when the hell is Tip's February sun going to melt my damn driveway?
  16. Yeah. This was our first winter using our stove full-time (we didn't get a chimney liner until PD last year). I thought two cords would get us through. As it turns out, I'm reasonably optimistic we'll make it through February. Note to self: 2.5-3 cords for next year.
