  1. It's a great time to buy--not too much downside.
  2. Hoping the warmth coming late week doesn't hinder some late seeding I did. Hopefully, if I keep it watered and the fact it's in a shaded area will allow it to take hold.
  3. Awesome out there. Mowed yesterday, put down various chemicals today. All is good.
  4. Is this intended as both a saltwater and freshwater thread? If not, I can create a saltwater one.
  5. I would concede that areas like Boston/Metrowest will see declines muted--probably not denied. What we are beginning to already is longer times on market, sales taking place below asking and other concessions that sellers may make. That said, it might be worth while hanging on for the GC prices to drop (further and faster than where you to maximize your profit. 2 cents from the peanut gallery.
  6. Yes--might need to get the price of milk, dog food, apples, chips, cars, electricity, and gas to go down first. But yes.
  7. This is coming up as a memory of 14 years ago (year we moved to Shelburne). Did we really have that much snow remaining? Must have been a good year.
  8. The prices will come down to earth. Enjoy the 'funny money' while it lasts.
  9. First light-show of the season driving down the Jersey Turnpike this evening. Hopefully you'll get something up there.
  10. Gotta love the NY Post---their headline has Will Smith as "Best Smackor". They also have the uncensored exchange from Austrailia where the censors didn't step in.
  11. Happy spring everyone. Green-up taking place right on schedule.
  12. First signs of green-up on some lawns in the area. Not yet at mi casa. IIRC, I think mine is one of the last ones in the neighborhood to take shape. How early can one put down a spring fertilizer? Is there time enough to do a first-of-season treatment and some overseeding before putting down any pre-emergent?
