  1. Apparently, I'm going to become grandfather x 3 today. Daughter's at the hospital now. Maybe they'll change the baby's name to Jesus

  10. LOL. I just made the first payment so that day is now in the past. No more worries of outages with the generator all wired!
  11. Any feelings of despair I have over lack of snow this winter will be tempered by the upcoming first season with my new toy.
  12. I recall being pumped for Christmas breaks of yore--tracking storms instead of having to work. I still have the break but nothing to track. Only 5 months to boating season.
  13. They were showing Pit 2 with an restoration of 11:00pm. tonight. It actually came on before noon.
  14. Eyeballing the list, looks like only 3 of the earlier ones were in December (2003, 1969, and 1910). Power's back on at Pit2.

  16. I'm heading up to Pit2 today......still in the dark there with no restoration estimate listed on the CMP site. Oy.
  17. Driving east/west on the Pike this morning was pretty interesting.......wind was buffeting my Q7. Hadn't expected that for that big a car.
  18. Had a flash of lightning/crack of thunder around 9:00pm last night. That's the most exciting part of the event so far.
