  1. 3" in 3 hours. Looks like sleet is already into southern Hampshire County. Time runs shorter than I would have expected. 17*
  2. Flakes are still small but the visibility has plummeted. Deck covered withn a few mintues.
  3. Snow started at the Pit, quickyl picking up, really small flakes to start. 18*
  4. The tip sun angle will do the trick in cooler temps as well.
  5. The tip sun angle will do the trick in cooler temps as well.
  6. Typical swfe.....fast with the start, fast with the taint.
  7. That drain fell .5* short in NW zones the last time. Meanwhike my car was reading only 14* during my drive to greenfield just now.
  8. I guess our hopes for the weekend system were dashed. Oh well. Weenie hopes were rising for 24 hours.
  9. It doesn't make sense to me to have wording in the WSW product that contradicts what you're saying in the ZFP and PnC. The WSW is less aggressive than either of those.
  10. BOX is pretty aggressive on totals for out here. My zone is for 6-10", and my P/C goes with a 4-8/1-3. We're going to need some pretty heavy rates during the day and a slow taint if we want to get much over 5-7".
  11. Red indeed. Primed for some sn and ip. Good map, Ray.
  12. That's 7:00a.m on the 21st. We sell Pit1 at 9:00a.m. I go out with a bang to the paltry 16" of ORH.
  13. In 2 months, this will be a 'winter of yore to forget'.
  14. Thanks--we can probably move this to the home improvement thread Quick question--did a single inverter handle the three units or does each unit require it's own? We have a single heatpump at Pit2 so that was not anything I needed to worry about.
  15. I wonder if installation will be needed at Pit3. It has a large number of ceiling fans. I really don't like the idea of window units. What have folks found the cost of installing central air to be?
  16. And just like that, Kevin has melted. Yesterday, its was 6-9" south of the Pike; today it's talk of gypsy moths. Close the shades.
  17. Dream crusher ip-fest for SNE. BOX already has thrown the caution flags of watch downgrades. I anticipate that will be the case at least for zones below Rt2. Meanwhile, GYX going long and deep.
