  1. Agreed--one of the best of all time. The antithesis of this winter--one of the worst of all time.
  2. I just watched the Shawshank Redemption.......this is just Andy Dufrain digging through his cell wall with his little rock hammer.
  3. It's funny to see the conversation about a jackpot on this (yes, I've been part of it). It's a small system. Someone might say I got 3X what you got--and the difference is 3" vs. 1". Or perhaps we'll see 2 vs. 4. In this winter it seems like a lot, but it ain't.
  4. BOX has upped their map into 2019 HECS territory.
  5. I'll buy you an IPA at the next get together if GC doesn't beat Mount Tolland. This has northern mass highlands as the winners written all over it.
  6. Any better than 06z? It's doing all it can not to puke on itself, but man it's been looking nauseous with this for days and days.
  7. Glad we dont' live there. Edit: I just realized I only live here for 4.5 more days. Sad.
  8. Agreed. A couple folks like Pete may lollie and verify warning snows, but there's not enough threat for any more than an advisory region-wide.
  9. Man--forgot about Koch's. Beer balls became popular once they banned that 1/2 kegs on campus. I like(d) Narragansett. For sentimental reasons if nothing else. Don't know those other two at all.
  10. Doesn't 84 intersect the Pike? I think the jack will be the typical central/NW highlands of MA that one sees in similar set ups.
  11. Back when I was a runner (of sorts), Genessee sponsored a lot of running races--as did other beers. The Kelly Race in New London used to be called the Schaeffer Road Race. I remember Genessee was sponsor of races I would run in GON and up in Brantingham (on the Tug).
  12. When I started in college, bottles of Bud at our local bars were $1; you could get a pitcher for $3. There was outrage junior year when they updated the prices to $1.50/$4.
  13. Not even that. It was just "milwalkee". Came in a plain white can with black lettering.
  14. We could buy a case of "Milwaulkee" beer (note: not "Old Milwaukee) for $5.99. You knew times were tight when that was in the grocery cart.
  15. Savor it while we can. We're back on the taint train 2.5 days later.
  16. Yeah--expecting a bit of a win with this. Of course, that's not saying much in a winter when 'wins' have most often meant waiting a little longer for the taint.
