Thanks Steve--we ended up getting a leak at our chimney during that storm. Just what you want when you're selling a house! I thought it might be helpful for the buyers. I felt bad for the roofer who was up there today installing new flashing.

Today will be a good example of late February solar impact vs. cold temps. I'm expecting my snow-covered, sun-exposed driveway will take a beating despite the progged high temp of 20*. Meanwhile, it'll be deep winter on the north-facing deck.

Thanks--I had come across that one, but it only goes back 50 (February 9th). I need to find the ones that the earlier rainers. Particularly that really heavy one we had near Christmas. Does anyone recall what the totals were like on that? I think the western areas got particuilarly swamped (no pun intended) with upwards of 3" in spots.

Random question--does anyone know where there's an archive of spotter reports? I'm trying to find ones from the big rainers we've had since December. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Hope for that. This looks like a Rainer after a little snow to start. We’re now at the point where solar radiation will come into play got Zr. Today’s wet roads are a case in point.
