  1. What’s the deal from the Midcoast to 495 to Orh? Barring delays, anticipate a noon arrival. Should things be tapering off then? thanks (in phone).
  2. Nice looking system. I'll be driving back from Pit2 in the morning. For the purposes of driving, Messenger SE ticks will be fine by me. Note that I did call for snow by not buying a snowblower. Of all the luck.....
  3. Everything sucked this winter. Everything.
  4. Locally as your place? Nothing to unusual with that.
  5. I think that map has about 20% of the airport codes Brian drops in a season.
  6. Are you hankering to fire up the lawn thread and live vicariously through BDL reports?
  7. Looks to be a coming in a bit closer on Sunday night, too. Perhpas we'll see some Ec/GFS convergence. That would lbe an ideal trend--both from a forecasting point as well as from a sensible weather one.
  8. I'm glad I passed on buying a snow blower.
  9. Big is relative to the year at hand.
  10. Does that mean no shoveling on Memorial Day?
  11. Just came across this--from some restaurant in Syracuse. Kinda funny.
  12. We have the event Wednesday to provide some modest wintry appeal. At least it' won't be washed away on Saturday.
  13. Wake me when things are looking good at 28 hours.
  14. Man--forgot about Koch's. Beer balls became popular once they banned that 1/2 kegs on campus. I like(d) Narragansett. For sentimental reasons if nothing else. Don't know those other two at all.
  15. Back when I was a runner (of sorts), Genessee sponsored a lot of running races--as did other beers. The Kelly Race in New London used to be called the Schaeffer Road Race. I remember Genessee was sponsor of races I would run in GON and up in Brantingham (on the Tug).
  16. When I started in college, bottles of Bud at our local bars were $1; you could get a pitcher for $3. There was outrage junior year when they updated the prices to $1.50/$4.
  17. Not even that. It was just "milwalkee". Came in a plain white can with black lettering.
  18. We could buy a case of "Milwaulkee" beer (note: not "Old Milwaukee) for $5.99. You knew times were tight when that was in the grocery cart.
