    The family room was once a porch. It has two walls that are entirely windows. At least it has basement below it. FWIW, the stove here is a gas one so easy to use to take off the chill and turn off. Plus no mess. That said, I do miss cutting and splitting wood. Up to 56* now.

    It was 44* (low) at mi casa when I came down at 4:00a.m. It then climbed from there to 49* by 5:30.

    Ha. I also have chestnuts. I had never had those before though as a kid there were some at my friends house. We spent long hours throwing them at each other. Since you didn't need to make them, it was a much more rapid fire war than a snowball fight.

    Looks like we're going to 7--10 split here in ORH. Hopefully we'll still manage to get a little rain to keep my grass seed moist. I really don't want to water.
