  1. Oh for some sun. At least the rain's stopped. EDIT: nope, raining again.
  2. Leading into a rainy afternoon. At least we might be in the summery 50's today.
  3. Those are some pretty weak leaves if that's summer. A nice spring picture though.
  4. I'm glad I've had the heat to keep my misinformed ass warm the last several days that never got out of or 40's/low 50's.
  5. How do see 'rain' when I posted this: "Saturday: Cloudy/50's"? Good luck with your 70.
  6. Good luck with that 70. Let me make sure I'm following your post here: Today goes down hill with the BD Friday: Rainy/manky 50's Saturday: cloudy/ 50's Sunday: rainy/50's Monday: maybe some improvement? Enjoy this summer appeal.
  7. It's the April equivalent to September 15 foliage.
  8. Those are some pretty early stage leaves. But green is green.
  9. One of my colleagues lives in Denton, TX. Just posted this on our Slack channel.
  10. LOL. Not sure of the ranking, but the 46.6* (+.8) and 206% of rainfall at ORH makes for a PDX appeal.
  11. Didn't notice. I stand by my comment though. This has been about the worst April ever. Incessant clouds, rain, cold. At least there's been no need to water the lawn.
  12. Summer of yore. New England has become the new Pacific NW.
  13. LOL. I don't think I scolded. Lawns have always been important to me. Lots of seeding each year. I wasn't fertilizing with well, etc. You might recall I frequently would post pics of my mowed lawn from the prior Pit 1.
  14. Thanks. I've gone ahead and put down soil and raked in some additional seed. If it makes it even a little better, it will have been time/money well spent (and not much of either, frankly). 2/3 of the strip between the sidewalk and street looks like shit, too. Lord knows what the previous owners had going on. The remaining third is lush. Stay tuned on that--and for the backyard follies once that project gets underway.
  15. You stayed above freezing--welcome to summer.
