  1. True. Though marginal in May and marginal in January are two very different breeds of of marginal.

  3. No sense in discussing it really....
  4. Righteous. Per SPC sounding climo, the values forecast for Saturday and lower/colder than anything experienced here in May in 70 years. This will bear watching. Precipitable water values are mostly at or below 0.5 inches, which is mostly below normal values so no major rain is expected.
  5. There were quite a few clouds here. Clouds/sun until about 1:30, then to almost full sun now. Just a little ballsy given the last month.
  6. I wore shorts/fleece when I took the dog for a walk late-morning while it was still in the 50's so I knew the day would be nice. I took out the deck furniture later in the day. By the time I grabbed a book to relax out there, some clouds/coolness had set it which must have tainted my memory. Bring on today.
  7. An added 5* would have put it in the running. :
  8. First COC of the season today. Soak it in before the return to BN.
  9. 1.05" at ORH since yesterday. Bleh.
  10. Given the number of weeds I have, I'm sure it will handle some of them!
  11. Thanks--I wasn't aware they had pre-emergents that didn't impact grass. That sounds like a great idea. Do you put that down prior to seeding?
  12. Sorry for the dumb questions here..... I want to overseed my lawn. I know I need to rake it. Do I put down fertilize a couple days before I seed? Same time as seeding? After seeding? Should I use a starter fertilizer even though it's already established? Thanks for the help!
  13. I'll go with: '78 Rocktober Irene's flooding 1993
  14. Over 30 hours of continuous snow at this point. I'm not sure if we can claim "days and days", but "days" works.
  15. Congrats, Ray--that's awesome. Makes for a great winter finale. With the exception of an hour or so yesterday afternoon, I haven't been able to see across the river since the snow started. No idea of accumulations. We've probably received close to 10" since the end of the day yesterday. Snowing nicely now, progged daytime accumulations today of 1-3".
