  1. Nice cool-down with the rains. Dropped from 68 to 61 in the blink of an eye.
  2. I would think that descriptions above/below normal really should be tied to a departure from a normal range (e.g.departures > +/- 1SD) rather than a particular average temperature. Above average is accurate, but "normal" encompasses much more than 'average'.
  3. Wow--ORH went from 37.4 at 2:30 to 43* at 5:00am. Mi casa at 35*. Low temp for the season.
  4. Give me front-loaded epicosity rather than a Feb/March deal.
  5. Great to see these reports! Alas, mi casa and ORH both bottomed out at 37*. Was hoping to at least get 35.
  6. A guy from work lives in Wyoming. He posted pictures two days so far this week of overnight snows. Just coatings so far. On another note: https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2019/10/04/yes-there-are-lot-acorns-ground-this-season-here-why/RxvCFvTh2AVA3XYfNHG14K/story.html?s_campaign=breakingnews:newsletter
  7. Nice. That's a big step up from your flip-phone pics!
  8. Yup--that's the one I was on. I'll dig up my pictures as well (not that it's much different than the one you posted!).
  9. Down to 67*....getting a little more comfortable.
  10. Time to move that meeting outside! Rain's taking a couple ticks off the thermometer. Keep it going. 72.
  11. I wonder if any of the diverted flights were directed to ORH. I did hear a couple planes that didn't seem to mesh with the regular flight schedules.
  12. I believe that was the very plane my brother and I toured at ORH two Saturdays ago. We opted not to go on a flight. Scary and sad. On a weather related note, the windshift suggests the front went through an hour ago. Awaiting temp drop to follow--up to 74* now. Gross.
  13. Wow--we saw them at their show at ORH just last week!
  14. Perhaps Kevin and Dr. Dew's can relocate to there. Let them live the life they pretend exists up here.
  15. Agreed, 70/65 at mi casa at the moment. It will all be a memory in a couple hours.
  16. I guess those last to have the front come through will be able to celebrate the largest magnitude of temp-drop. I'll still prefer sooner rather than later.
  17. Sounds like it. I guess last night will be the last with open windows for at least a few nights. Have your winds backed around?
  18. Because ... exposure increases the probability of more infections ... the warmer weather is particularly favorable for host species responsible for the the contagious vector of the disease, which leads inexorably to more exposure. And that's incontrovertible. So there.
  19. Let's hoist a glass to another look at 10-days out.
