  1. Absolutely no COC today. Cloudy, raw, awaiting showers this afternoon. Shawls abound.
  2. Very high tide = very low tide, too. We're putting in a dock in the spring. We're pretty high above the water so we had the builder out to scope out what we needed at 7:00a.m. today (low tide). Looks like a 40' ramp!
  3. It’s been a little chilly here at Pit2, but you can’t argue it’s a COC start to September.
  4. lol. I've worked from home for 16 of the last 18 years. Pre-coronavirus, that involved frequent travel for sales/consulting. Like most everyone else, thatd's all being done remotely. I'm eager to get back to face-to-face conversations. Much more impactful. Weird having 'no status' for flying. I guess few people will for a while.
  5. My wife and daughter won out re: Princeton. FWIW, Westborough is Worcester County, so now metrowest. No more snow for me though, even if I am in the high point of town. As far as traffic, I work from home and my wife reverse commutes to Worcester, so traffic won't really be an issue.
  6. I love that -7 up in the Canadian hinterlands. Meanwhile, my last weekend in ORH. Movers come on Monday and I head up to Pit 2 for 10 days before closing on a new Pit1 (Westborough). I'm moving in the wrong direction for snow. May as well bit the bullet and head to Savannah.
  7. A quick downpour of 1.06". I got in my car and water was dripping down from the buttons to my sun-roof. Never had that happen before!
  8. This drought is a killer. What monsoon out there. 62*. We do not COC.
  9. Had it been showing a torch this week?
  10. Does anyone know what kind of tree this is from? It’s just a little smaller than a golf ball. It’s kind of like a chestnut without spines.
  11. Coronovirus blowing every which way 'til Sunday.
  12. It’s time for James to remove the boards from his windows.
  13. Hopefully it I’ll be enough rain to reveal any roof shortcomings for our home inspection in Thursday.
  14. go ahead. It'll probably be the same thread as we might not have any other threats this season.
  15. Aint' exactly a "batten down the hatches" kind of storm. Tropical season in NE lives on. 525 AM EDT Mon Aug 3 2020 ...TROPICAL STORM WATCH IN EFFECT... A Tropical Storm Watch means tropical storm-force winds are possible somewhere within this area within the next 48 hours * LOCATIONS AFFECTED - Milford - Worcester * WIND - LATEST LOCAL FORECAST: Below tropical storm force wind - Peak Wind Forecast: 25-35 mph with gusts to 45 mph
  16. I wonder if it might be worth coming up with an excuse to go up to Pit2. I'm guessing it would be more exciting than ORH.
  17. Yeah. It's only a soaking rain when it's 2-3" over the course of 2-3 days. Congrats, Hoth.
  18. Here's the Deerfield River in Shelburne Falls the day after Irene. Appaprently my other stuff is on phones I may not longer have.
  19. We have no need for models unless they show devastating damage.
  20. 8:00am is about a fart away from Pit2. LOL. Might need to be watering the lawn again on Wednesday.
