  1. ASOUT. 57* at ORH, 58* here at the Pit. We don't torch.
  2. You know the season has changed (astronomically speaking) when your first-period forecast is for 'tonight' and it's only 3:00pm..
  3. Nice. Managed to score 49* here. The great torch of September 2019 burns on.
  4. I love how the 10-day forecasts/pattern changes have played out the past year.
  5. Meh. A day of comfortably warm on the heels of a string of COC. Let's all hope we can stay safe. Great day for the first Sunday of football. Doesn't get much better.
  6. Congrats. We picked up all of .04". Chilly in the house this morning.
  7. Ha. I also have chestnuts. I had never had those before though as a kid there were some at my friends house. We spent long hours throwing them at each other. Since you didn't need to make them, it was a much more rapid fire war than a snowball fight.
  8. This is the first time since my childhood home that I have oaks. I forget the joy of acorns.
  9. Another cool night. When is the September torch supposed to begin again?
  10. Looks like we're going to 7--10 split here in ORH. Hopefully we'll still manage to get a little rain to keep my grass seed moist. I really don't want to water.
  11. Maybe BOX should replace their hurricane icon with a picture of James, all decked out in his Patriot's gear, sitting in front of blank tv screen.
  12. LOL. Comcast will have to dig deep to get the Cape up and running.
  13. I wish we had the same cool temperatures you managed. Meanwhile, there's a patch of blue overhead with the sun peaking through. 65*, looks like we're finishing with 1.26". Pretty righteous.
  14. Many of us would like an early ET transition to allow more people to enjoy the breeze and rain.
  15. Up to 1.03" with the back edge now just passing through. Not sure if we'll add much from that second band. Weak sauce compared to what just came through over the past two hours.
  16. Yeah. My daughter goes to school in Marion, MA. I wonder what their protocol is for that.
  17. And RI/SE MA and DE ME make the cone. Congrats.
  18. I may have picked the wrong day for over-seeding. Hopefully the seed won't wash away as a result of existing grass. Looks like the rn+ might continue for a while. Up to .68" (.65 in the past hour). EDIT: up to .84". Torrential.
  19. Looks more like a paiinting than a photo. Menawhile, we rn+ in Worcester. 64*, .55" N
  20. We did? I must have missed it. Meanwhile, hoping the rain starts soon.
  21. I was a sophomore in college--enjoyed a day of cancelled classes.
