    Ha. I also have chestnuts. I had never had those before though as a kid there were some at my friends house. We spent long hours throwing them at each other. Since you didn't need to make them, it was a much more rapid fire war than a snowball fight.

    I wish we had the same cool temperatures you managed. Meanwhile, there's a patch of blue overhead with the sun peaking through. 65*, looks like we're finishing with 1.26". Pretty righteous.

    Many of us would like an early ET transition to allow more people to enjoy the breeze and rain.

    I may have picked the wrong day for over-seeding. Hopefully the seed won't wash away as a result of existing grass. Looks like the rn+ might continue for a while. Up to .68" (.65 in the past hour). EDIT: up to .84". Torrential.

    Belle for me. Maybe the UK can be reliable this winter. I'll toss that unless others start joining in. It may not be a huge miss, but I'd certainly lean toward that at this point than anything significant--even for James.

    They were renting that one, IIRC. But they bought a fixer-upper in Park Slope about 30-years ago. I think they'll do okay when they sell/move in a couple years when they retire. $$$
