  1. For those of us who have forgotten what winter is, I just got this facebook 'memory' of Pit2 from 3 years ago. An epic week in Maine. I think this was after we had received 41" over the course of a week with another MECS arriving the day of the photo.
  2. No emotion here. I checked out 3 weeks ago.
  3. Is this what this winter has reduced us to? Posting 354-hour clown maps? Oy.
  4. I do believe this is the most sparsely commented on February discussion thread in the history of Eastern/American WX Another winter 2019-20 record.
  5. It's doesn't snow where it doesn't want to snow. Winter 2019-20
  6. I'm beginning to understand what it's like to live the life of James.
  7. A little trigger happy in Worcester. lol With snow in the forecast for Saturday afternoon into Sunday, a parking ban will go into effect in Worcester at 2 p.m. Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, the first flakes will be seen in Worcester about 4 p.m. Saturday, with the city geting from 4-6 inches by the time the storm ends overnight. The Fitchburg area could see 6-8 inches. Parking in municipal garages is free during the ban.
  8. Hi. My name is Mike. I've been a weenie for 53 years. Lately, it's taken up all my free time. With this latest possibility shitting the bed, I just can't take it any more. I'm hoping this thread will help me get my head straight.
  9. Here’s a pair today bald eagles floating down the Kennebec.
  10. Maine—where winter meets the Atlantic. Only 10* on the beach at 11:00. Not too shabby.
  11. Nice burst of heavy. Short-lived. Get out the shorts.
  12. Wow--I had no idea that Dave is finishing December with a (rounded) 40-spot. Way to meh a jackpot!
  13. It's like I-84 east of Hartford.....people forget how to drive. Meanwhile, the wind is just roaring here.
  14. That blows (no pun intended). At least it wasn't a frigid night. ORH just gusted to 48-49.
  15. I'd use a stronger word than "breezy" for 49mph gusts. Today A chance of flurries after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph.
  16. Man--winds are howling. Too bad it's not ushering in single digit temps. ORH recorded a 45mph gust already.
  17. 47 here....actually came down a degree. I'll chalk that up for a win.
  18. Down to about 12" on my deck table. I'm sure there's more on the ground (that only melts from the top). Balmy, 48*
  19. SNE might actually run ahead of JSPin for about 48 hours this season. Of course, that's still in question.
